We performed multiple passes with the pads, gradually smoothing out the surface and bringing back its natural beauty.
Polishing the Marble to a Mirror Finish
Once the marble was properly resurfaced, it was time to add a polished, mirror-like look. For this step, we used a calcite stone polish. This polish works by enhancing the stone’s natural properties, creating a shine that’s bright but not artificial. Unlike waxes or coatings, the shine we create is a result of the stone’s own reflective properties.
Sealing the Marble for Long-Term Protection
Finally, we sealed the marble with a non-cosmetic impregnating stone sealer. This type of sealer penetrates the stone, offering protection from stains and water damage without changing the appearance of the surface. The result is a floor that looks polished and natural, without the use of superficial waxes or topical coatings.
The Final Result: A Completely Natural, Polished Finish
The end result was stunning. The floor now shines with a natural brilliance, and there are no waxes or coatings hiding the stone’s beauty. Thanks to the steps we took, this marble floor will continue to look great for years to come.
